The Alpha Delta Sigma Chapter was chartered on April 20, 2008 at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin Texas. Kappa Delta Pi is the first honor society on campus.

Welcome New Chapter!
On Saturday May 3, Dr. Blossom Nissman, past president of the National Executive Council installed the Alpha Delta Phi Chapter 693 at Utica College in New York. The counselor is Dr. Thomas Diana. Congratulations to our newest Kappa Delta Pi chapter!

Sigma Alpha
During the annual Student Award Ceremony at Penn State Harrisburg, the Teacher Education faculty acknowledged the following Sigma Alpha members:
The KDP Excellence Award: presented to Senior Education majors who have excelled in their program of study. Award sponsored by the Sigma Alpha Chapter.
Secondary Education: Brandon Heuyard
Elementary Education: Elena Stimmel and Amber Jarrett
The Outstanding Senior Award: given by the Penn State Harrisburg Alumni Association, and presented to a senior who has exhibited outstanding leadership and community service throughout his/her collegiate experience.

Eta Phi Chapter

Michigan Kadelpians Honored!
Eastern Michigan University- At the recent Student Gold Medalian Award Ceremony, two members of the Pi Chapter were honored. Jamie VanDongen, Chapter Officer, received an award for Outstanding Student Volunteer. Dr. Beth Johnson, Chapter Counselor, received an award for Student Organization Advisor Celebrating Excellence in Leadership and Community Service. Congratulations!

Washtenaw Community College- Another congratulations goes to Mr. Dan Taylor, Counselor of the Alpha Delta Eta Chapter. He was recently nominated for a student award.

Iowa State University
- Kadelpians from the Mu Pi Chapter at Iowa State University participated in a variety of community projects last year. Members got involved in school systems, clubs, and other organizations. For more details, check out the power point presentation!
